Our Relationship

We met in 2016 when fate (and a mutual friend) brought us together, and we hit it off immediately. Our love grew from afar while Paul attended Indiana University and Mika attended the University of Arizona. Lo and behold, COVID hit—and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

We’ve moved from Indiana, where Paul finished school, to Chicago, where we adopted our dog, Maisey, to Colorado, where we now live. Since moving here, we’ve found joy in the little things—hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, and visiting our favorite bookstore a bit too often.

After nine years of growing side by side, we are so excited to begin our next chapter together as husband and wife.
